Keechi Creek Builders to Lead HomeAid Houston Project in Katy

April 21, 2015 – Katy, TX.Keechi Creek Builders is honored to lead the HomeAid Houston remodeling project at the Krause Children’s Residential Center in Katy. The project scope includes renovating the dining room of the residential treatment center for severely troubled girls aged 12-17 years.

The Krause Children’s Residential center is part of Upbring – The New Lutheran Social Services of the South. Its mission is to break the cycle of child abuse by empowering children, families, and communities and it focuses on long term outcomes for all Texas children. The project is slated to be completed this summer.

Brandon Lynch, President/Owner of Keechi Creek Builders, says, “We are pleased that we can be a part of this project to help improve the quality of life for these young women in our community. It is very rewarding to renovate a space where they enjoy meals and camaraderie among their peers. It’s projects like these that allow us to not only give back but also showcase the importance of thoughtful, purpose-driven design. By incorporating sustainable living construction tips into the renovation process, we ensure the space is not only functional but also environmentally responsible. Our goal is to create a lasting impact that reflects both the needs of the community and a commitment to sustainability.

We are humbled to know that we are contributing to giving them teen experiences in a safe environment that every young person deserves.”Lynch is no stranger to giving back to the Houston community. Last year he led a team of 12 companies with the Custom Builders Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) and HomeAid Houston to renovate the multipurpose room and bathrooms of the Jacquelyn House at the Santa Maria Hostel, which serves women in crisis and their children.

He previously worked with the GHBA Remodelers Council on renovating five apartments at the Santa Maria Hostel as well as a project at SIRE Equine Center, which provides therapeutic horsemanship to people with special needs. Lynch states that being able to use his time and experience to unite professionals in the building and remodeling industry for community projects is one of the perks of his job and even more so, it’s one of his personal goals.
